I've already said to my boss that when I get home, I will be taking the day off. After 4 hours and doing a grand total of 0.5 miles in Cobb County, GA, I went back to the office. And I'm still there. I'm not getting home until tomorrow.

I don't understand how thats even possible to sit in a car for 4 hours and only go that far. Apparently my sister who is from michigan (like me) walked the 2 miles home after work in Atlanta. I told her she is crazy.
Either way that sucks and I'll follow alex's post … have some butts.

I work down by the airport and we left at 1:30. I made it home by 3 to Lilburn. A coworker of mine who lives up by Dawsonville was still on the road.

My walk would have been 26 miles. I don't have a heavy enough coat for it.
Thanks for the awesomeness.

I finally made a dash for it this morning at 8:45AM. I got gas for the car at Delk Road and 75, and then headed up 75 to Wade Green, and then up Bells Ferry to my house.
I got back about 11AM. So basically 23 hours from when they told us to go home (Which was right after I left the office to go get lunch)
